About the position

We are seeking a high-performing Sales and Finance Manager to join our team in Berlin, NJ. This role is pivotal in helping us achieve our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets while ensuring our company remains competitive and innovative in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing the potential of our sales team, crafting effective sales plans, and justifying these plans to upper management. In this position, you will be tasked with achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. You will design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures a strong market presence. Additionally, you will own the recruiting process, set objectives, coach team members, and monitor their performance to ensure success. Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships will be essential, as you will need to partner with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for presenting sales, revenue, and expenses reports, along with realistic forecasts to the management team. Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while staying fully aware of new products and the competitive landscape will be crucial for this role. The Sales and Finance Manager will play a key role in driving the sales process from planning to closing, ensuring that our strategies align with the overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures a strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Requirements

  • Successful previous experience as a finance manager and sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience in sales and finance for 5 years (Required)
