About the position

At Jaybird Senior Living, we are dedicated to providing exemplary red carpet service in all aspects of our work. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy goals, which are crucial for the success of our community. You will develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with our mission and values, ensuring that we effectively reach our target audience. Your responsibilities will include managing an inquiry database to document all contact made with potential residents and their families. You will prepare collateral materials for tours and marketing events, ensuring that our community is presented in the best light possible. Timely follow-up on inquiries is essential, and you will be expected to manage this process, including responding to inquiries during nights and weekends when necessary. Additionally, you will maintain and manage the marketing budget, collaborating closely with the Director and Health Care Coordinator to schedule assessments and move-ins. Participation in local organizations and committees will also be a key part of your role, as this will help strengthen referral relationships and enhance our community's visibility. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in marketing but also passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and maintain budgeted occupancy goals.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans.
  • Manage inquiry database documenting all contact made.
  • Prepare collateral materials for tours and marketing events.
  • Ensure inquiries are followed up within a timely fashion, including nights and weekends.
  • Maintain and manage the marketing budget.
  • Collaborate with the Director and Health Care Coordinator to schedule assessments and move-ins.
  • Participate in local organizations and committees to strengthen referral relationships.

Requirements

  • A degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or related area preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and/or sales desired.
  • Experience working with marketing plans and external sales.
  • Hired candidates will be required to successfully complete a criminal background check, valid references, and other pre-employment practices as required by law.
