About the position

Chicken Salad Chick is a multi-unit franchise with a reputation for quality food and exceptional service. We are focused on growing our in-store traffic, enhancing our online presence, and expanding our catering and event opportunities. Our goal is to create memorable dining experiences both in-store and at off-site events. Join our team and help us take our business to the next level through strategic sales initiatives and engaging social media campaigns. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales and Social Media Manager to drive traffic to our restaurants, build our brand online, and pursue catering and event opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies, managing social media content, and forming partnerships with local businesses and event organizers to grow our revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase in-store traffic, focusing on local promotions and community engagement.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other businesses to secure catering and off-site event contracts.
  • Attend local networking events, trade shows, and other opportunities to represent our brand and expand our customer base.
  • Collaborate with franchise partners and restaurant managers to ensure promotions and sales initiatives align with in-store operations.
  • Track and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage and grow the social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create engaging content that promotes our restaurants, including behind-the-scenes videos, customer testimonials, and promotions.
  • Plan and execute social media ad campaigns to target local audiences and drive traffic to our locations.
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages promptly to build a loyal online community.
  • Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, making adjustments to improve engagement and reach.
  • Stay on top of trends in both the restaurant and social media spaces to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation, with experience in growing an online brand.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling sales pitches and engaging social media content.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working with local businesses and corporate clients to develop partnerships.
  • Knowledge of SEO, online marketing strategies, and paid social media advertising is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
