About the position

As a Grand Living Sales and Marketing Coordinator (also known as Move-In Coordinator), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall Resident experience by providing exceptional coordination of the resident move-in process and their transition into the community. This position is crucial in ensuring that new residents feel welcomed and supported as they begin their journey in our senior living community. You will be responsible for overseeing each resident's move, assisting with furniture placement, and helping them orient themselves within their new environment. Your role will also involve acting as a tour guide for prospective residents, showcasing the community and its amenities, and providing information about the apartments available for rent. In addition to these responsibilities, you will assist the Sales team and the Executive Director in planning and implementing an annual marketing plan aimed at attracting new residents. This includes coordinating future resident interviews and appointments outside of the community, ensuring that all interactions are conducted in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, in line with our commitment to The Sterling Touch® service philosophy. You will be expected to communicate effectively with residents and their families on various issues, ensuring that their needs are met and that they feel valued and respected throughout their transition. This position requires flexibility, as you will need to work weekends and evenings to accommodate appointments and events. You will be under the general guidance of the Executive Director and will be expected to comply with all Grand Living policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations. Your contributions will directly impact the satisfaction and happiness of our residents, making this a rewarding and fulfilling role within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee each resident's move into the community.
  • Assist with furniture placement, orientation, and assimilation into the community.
  • Act as a tour guide for prospective residents, showcasing the community and apartments.
  • Assist the Sales team and Executive Director with planning and implementing the annual marketing plan.
  • Communicate with residents and their families on various issues.
  • Participate in Start Sterling! Daily line up.
  • Greet residents, guests, fellow employees, and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Work weekends and evenings for appointments and events.
  • Comply with Grand Living policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all state, federal, and/or other regulatory agencies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents and their families.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in sales or marketing, preferably in a hospitality or senior living environment.
  • Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
