About the position

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team at 400 Locust Street, Chesterton, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth. The successful applicant will be expected to have a deep understanding of marketing principles, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a sales team to achieve their targets. This part-time position offers a pay range of $15 - $20 an hour, with expected hours between 20 to 30 per week, primarily during the day shift from Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aimed at reaching new customers and increasing brand awareness. Conducting market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will manage the development of marketing materials, including print and digital advertising, content marketing, and social media marketing. Collaboration with the management team is essential to ensure that marketing strategies align with product goals and messaging. You will analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement. Additionally, overseeing the sales team will be part of your duties, providing coaching, guidance, and training to help them achieve their sales targets. Negotiating with advertising sales representatives to secure print and digital advertising placements will also be part of your responsibilities. Utilizing SEO best practices to optimize website content and improve search engine rankings is crucial, as is creating and managing marketing budgets to ensure effective allocation of resources. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers, will be vital to your success in this role. Finally, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) will help measure the success of marketing campaigns.
