About the position

The Sales and Marketing Director at Ivy Park in Simi Valley is responsible for generating and managing leads to qualify prospects for senior living accommodations. This role involves collaborating with the Executive Director and VP of Sales to develop strategic marketing plans aimed at achieving budgeted occupancy targets. The position emphasizes building relationships with prospective residents and community organizations to enhance occupancy and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage leads to qualify prospects for senior living accommodations.
• Guide prospects through the transition of moving into their new home.
• Create trust and connect with prospective residents and their families through phone calls and tours of the community.
• Ideate ways to increase occupancy and achieve targeted occupancy goals.
• Work with the team to execute events that attract prospects to the community.
• Build relationships with community organizations and professional groups to increase collaboration opportunities.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of marketing experience or a sales background (outside sales preferred).
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or equivalent experience).
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and diligence in following up with prospects.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
