About the position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Living Sales Director with a proven track record of success to take the helm of our sales and marketing efforts at a brand new senior living community in Edmonds, WA. This position is not just about sales; it is a calling to serve and truly help people make one of the most important decisions in their golden years. Our Family Advisors work closely with community partners, referral sources, prospective residents, and their families to help them understand their needs and the best options to meet those needs. As a Sales Director, you will lead a team of Family Advisors, guiding them in their efforts to connect with prospective residents and their families, ensuring they receive the support and information necessary to make informed decisions about their living arrangements. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will also be tasked with marketing the community. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing top-notch marketing events that promote the community and benefit both current and prospective residents. You will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining relationships with community partners and referral sources, which are crucial for driving sales and enhancing the community's reputation. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a collaborative environment where the sales team can thrive and achieve their goals. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with prospective residents and their families to help them understand their options and identify their needs.
  • Identify and establish new relationships with community partners and referral sources, while maintaining and strengthening existing relationships.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to sales team members.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute top-notch marketing events to promote and benefit the local community, our residents, and prospective residents.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of senior living sales preferred, but experience in hospitality, property management, hotel management, or event sales is also considered.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, public relations, communications, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales or related fields.
  • Engaging personality and a love for seniors.
