About the position

The Sales & Marketing Director at The Homestead at Anoka is responsible for overseeing the entire campus, focusing on both Assisted and Independent Living settings. This role serves as the primary community representative, generating new residents and increasing awareness of the facility's programs and services. The director will coordinate inquiries from referral sources and the public, maintain relationships with residents, and ensure occupancy goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the sales representative for internal and external marketing.
  • Assist the Residence Director in developing annual and quarterly goals and sales/marketing plans.
  • Conduct annual competitive comparisons and inform the finance department for annual rate reviews.
  • Liaise between administration and nursing for health admission screenings.
  • Manage all inquiry calls and follow the approved VOANS sales process.
  • Communicate move-in information to concerned departments.
  • Update all marketing materials and website per brand standards.
  • Utilize CRM software to document inquiries and determine key performance standards.
  • Identify and develop relationships with primary referral sources.
  • Manage and conduct the tour process for prospective residents and follow up as necessary.
  • Support and promote the VOANS' branding campaign and fundraising efforts.
  • Understand payer sources including private pay, elderly waiver, VA benefits, and long-term care insurance.
  • Develop strategies for community development and complete all admission forms and documentation.
  • Maintain supply of admission and tour packets, applications, and necessary department forms.
  • Serve on community committees as required.
  • Strive to meet occupancy budgets for all service levels as a minimum performance standard.
  • Attend required in-services and complete assigned online training.
  • Manage direct reports where applicable.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a post-secondary program, preferably in business, marketing, or a related degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing.
