About the position

As a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in our success, embodying our commitment to "Working Hard for the Hardest Working Americans." This mission drives our passion for helping clients navigate what is often the most significant financial event of their year—their tax return. Your role will be essential in easing their stress and providing expert customer service and tax knowledge. In this full-time position, you will support the company through various duties, including developing and implementing sales and marketing plans, conducting research, and engaging in development activities. You will be comfortable marketing to local businesses and clients through various channels, including face-to-face interactions, Zoom meetings, emails, texts, and phone calls, which may include cold calling. Effective communication with area managers across five states and a team of 75 employees is crucial. You will also be responsible for creating and delivering sales presentations and coaching other employees to enhance their sales techniques. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the company-wide marketing plan and budget, setting and evaluating sales and revenue goals, and ensuring that office locations meet brand and marketing appearance standards in time for openings. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and inviting workplace, which may involve light cleaning duties. Additionally, you will support leadership in personnel marketing and recruitment efforts as needed, and you will have the opportunity to create and test new sales and product opportunities in the accounting field.

Responsibilities

  • Support the company with sales and marketing plans, research, and development.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with computers and software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Sales management experience preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license and insurance are preferred.
  • Be coachable and able to take constructive feedback.
  • Willingness to travel 3-4 weeks per year.
  • Ability to work in the office and remotely from home at set times.
