About the position

The Sales and Operations Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth of a disruptive business model in the dumpster compacting industry. This position is responsible for developing the market, managing sales strategies, and ensuring operational goals are met within the trash compacting and dumpster business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow market share and increase revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups and customer service excellence.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and report on key metrics to the leadership team.
  • Develop pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and finalize customer agreements.
  • Create and implement strategies to improve customer retention rates.
  • Manage key customer accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve service offerings and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Work with leadership to develop annual business plans and operational goals.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance.

Requirements

  • An associate's degree or high school diploma.
  • 3-5 years of experience within sales in the trash compactor or waste management industry within the DFW area.
  • Track record of new account development and account management within the trash compacting business.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven.
  • May be required to pass a medical, physical, and drug screen.
