About the position

The Sales and Operations Planning Intern at Menasha Corporation will work closely with the Operations Team, engaging in hands-on problem solving and data analysis. This role is designed for students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields, providing an opportunity to gain practical experience while contributing to various projects within the company. The intern will receive mentorship and participate in a structured intern program focused on professional development.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine daily and weekly metrics and scorecards and publish to distribution groups.
• Execute on tactical tasks from meetings such as follow ups, updating tracker reports, and setting up meetings across various groups.
• Assist in data cleansing of received or extracted data to ensure report accuracy.
• Assist in creating and keeping master data information updated.
• Provide support in validating and comparing system data and reports to test and confirm accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with sales and operations planning team member on managing change request processing to ensure proper activities are being completed.
• Improve production line start-ups by developing a first hour tracker recording delay issues and help the team to eliminate or reduce causes.
• Develop an Indirect Labor Utilization tool by shift and department identifying goals and reduction opportunities.
• Assist and create optimal inventory timing tool for customer supplied products and materials.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or other related degree.
• Strong background / knowledge of Microsoft computer software.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting in a fast-paced environment.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
