About the position

The Sales and Operations Project Manager at We the Wild is a full-time role focused on enhancing supply chain efficiency and project execution for US retailers. This position serves as a crucial link between sales, warehouse, and supply chain teams, ensuring timely dispatch of retail orders while adhering to compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will be organized, assertive, and possess a strong background in retail operations, contributing to the company's growth in the retail market.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor routing guides and compliance requirements of retailers, modifying standard operating procedures as necessary.
• Communicate retailer compliance requirements to internal stakeholders and build processes to maintain accountability.
• Manage systems behind purchase orders, including retailer portals, project management, and accounting platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to build and maintain timing plans for critical projects.
• Utilize internal project management tools to hold operations and sales personnel accountable for key milestones.
• Work with external logistics and compliance departments at retailers such as Target, Walmart, and Costco.
• Ensure EDI compliance and manage ongoing EDI processes.
• Facilitate smooth sales and operations meetings, effectively delegating tasks.
• Maintain master product data information and act as the critical contact for this information.
• Collaborate with the new product development team to enhance the product development process.

Requirements

• Experience in the US retail industry, ideally with customers including Target, Walmart, and Costco.
• Strong understanding of sales and operational processes, particularly in moving orders from PO to delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, both clear and assertive.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Systems-oriented with a natural ability to learn new platforms.
