About the position

Penco Electric & Generators is the fastest growing electrical services contractor and Generac generator dealer in the Chicagoland area. We are looking for a Sales and Operations Specialist to join our team as a front line, friendly, enthusiastic customer service expert who coordinates all of our customers' needs. This is a great role for someone who is a self-starter, wants to develop in their career, and enjoys a fast-paced and positive work environment. The Sales and Operations Specialist role plays a vital role in being the first line of communication for our current and prospective customers. You will be able to help Penco in your role by managing incoming calls and service inquiries in a positive and professional manner, supporting the sales team by assisting with cultivating and advancing leads and opportunities, and being involved in marketing products and services through multiple channels. You will work as the primary point of contact for new and current customers, identifying and assessing their needs, and coordinating with the customer service team to streamline the customer experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for booking appointments for our technicians and estimators and utilizing our field management software (Service Titan).

Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming calls and service inquiries in a positive and professional manner
  • Supporting the sales team by assisting with cultivating and advancing leads and opportunities
  • Involved in marketing products and services through multiple channels
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for new and current customers, identifying and assessing their needs
  • Coordinating with the customer service team to streamline the customer experience
  • Booking appointments for technicians and estimators
  • Utilizing field management software (Service Titan)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales, customer service, and/or marketing experience
  • Trade service industry knowledge or experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of computer programs that may include: G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Service Titan, CRM platforms, etc.
  • Ability to take direction well and learn quickly from coaching and training
  • Self-starter and proactive with the ability to spot opportunities for improvement
