About the position
The Sales and Service Route Driver at Safety-Kleen is responsible for driving a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines and to pick up containerized hazardous waste. This role emphasizes health and safety, sustainability, and customer service, while also offering opportunities for training and career development.
Responsibilities
- Drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines.
- Pick up containerized hazardous waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety practices and policies.
- Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
- Upsell services at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
- Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL license.
- Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL).
