About the position

The Sales and Service Representative (SSR) at Crystal Clean is responsible for applying sales strategies to grow the company's business at new and existing customer sites. This role involves performing various services at customer facilities, including parts washing and waste management, while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and promote safe work behaviors consistent with CC safety guidelines.
• Provide customer service and develop new business in assigned geographic areas.
• Align work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment for safe operation.
• Service existing customers by exchanging fluids and removing waste drums.
• Pursue additional services with existing accounts.
• Assess potential customer needs and present CC products and services.
• Develop sales leads for Data-Marketing.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
• Achieve sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development.
• Adhere to all corporate policies and standards, including environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have or be qualified to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Med Card with Airbrake and HAZMAT.
• Route sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interact with customers and corporate departments.
• Ability to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices and trucks.
