About the position

The Sales and Service Specialist at Firestone Complete Auto Care is a hybrid role designed to provide exceptional customer service while performing basic vehicle services. This position serves as a key pipeline for career growth within the company, allowing individuals to learn all aspects of store operations and flexibly transition between customer interaction and service tasks. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, making it essential for the success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales support, resolving customer issues (75% of the role)
• Perform basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks (25% of the role)
• Assist in store operations including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and display organization as needed
• Act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances to support development
• Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front and back shop tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid automobile driver's license
• Customer service and career growth mindset
• Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks
• Ability to learn and operate store systems

Nice-to-haves

• 2-year degree or completion of a non-traditional training program
• Previous consumer retail sales experience
• Previous automotive experience
• Previous management/supervisory experience
