About the position
The Sales and Service Specialist (SST) at Bridgestone Retail Operations is a hybrid role designed to provide exceptional customer service while performing basic vehicle service tasks. This position serves as a key pipeline for career growth within the company, focusing on customer needs assessment, product recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction through timely service completion. The SST will learn all aspects of store operations and may assist in managerial duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Customer service, sales, and customer issue resolution (75%)
- Perform basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire installations, and fluid checks (25%)
- Assist in store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and display organization as needed
- Support the Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances to aid in development
- Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front and back shop tasks
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid automobile driver's license
- Customer service and career growth mindset
- Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks
- Ability to learn and operate store systems
Nice-to-haves
- 2 year degree or non-traditional education through training program completion or certification
- Previous consumer retail sales experience
- Previous automotive experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience
