About the position

The Retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) at Bridgestone Retail Operations is a hybrid role designed to serve customers while also performing basic vehicle services. This position acts as a key pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care, focusing on customer service, sales, and vehicle service tasks. The SST will learn all aspects of store operations and may assist or act as Manager-On-Duty to support development.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales support, resolving customer issues (75% of the role).
• Perform basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire installations, and fluid checks (25% of the role).
• Assist with store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and display setups as needed.
• Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between customer service and vehicle service tasks.
• Support the Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid automobile driver's license.
• Customer service and career growth mindset.
• Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
• Ability to learn and operate store systems.

Nice-to-haves

• 2-year degree or completion of a non-traditional training program or certification.
• Previous consumer retail sales experience.
• Previous automotive experience.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
