About the position

The Sales and Service Specialist (SST) at Bridgestone Retail Operations is a hybrid role designed to provide exceptional customer service while performing basic vehicle service tasks. This position serves as a key pipeline for career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care, focusing on customer needs assessment, product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service completion. Successful candidates will gain comprehensive knowledge of store operations and will have opportunities to flex between customer interaction and service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, sales, and issue resolution (75% of the role).
• Perform basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire installations, and fluid checks (25% of the role).
• Assist with store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and display maintenance as needed.
• Support career development by learning all aspects of store operations and flexing between front and back shop tasks.
• May act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances to support development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid automobile driver's license.
• Customer service and career growth mindset.
• Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
• Ability to learn and operate store systems.

Nice-to-haves

• 2-year degree or completion of a non-traditional training program.
• Previous consumer retail sales experience.
• Previous automotive experience.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
