About the position

The Retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) at Bridgestone Retail Operations is a hybrid role designed to serve customers while also performing basic vehicle services. This position acts as a key pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care, focusing on customer service, sales, and entry-level vehicle services. The SST will learn all aspects of store operations and will flexibly transition between customer interaction and service tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely completion of services.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues (75%)
• Perform basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire installations, and fluid checks (25%)
• Assist in store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and display maintenance as needed
• Support growth and career development by learning all aspects of store operations
• May assist the Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid automobile driver's license
• Customer service and career growth mindset
• Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks
• Ability to learn and operate store systems

Nice-to-haves

• 2-year degree or completion of a non-traditional training program
• Previous consumer retail sales experience
• Previous automotive experience
• Previous management or supervisory experience
