About the position

The Sales and Service Specialist at Hertz is a vital member of the Local Edition team, acting as a brand ambassador to provide an exceptional rental car experience for Lyft and Uber drivers. This role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, assisting customers with reservations and inquiries, and maximizing revenue opportunities while maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the rental car experience for Lyft and Uber drivers.
• Assist in creating rental car reservations and processing rentals.
• Provide clean and safe vehicles to customers.
• Handle post-rental inquiries related to rentals and billing.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program.
• Communicate effectively the procedures of the rental car program.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by soliciting business after customer inquiries.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pick-up, including cleaning and checking for damage.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
• Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer literate and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
