About the position

The Sales and Service Specialist at Hertz is a vital member of the Local Edition team, acting as a brand ambassador to provide an exceptional rental car experience for Lyft and Uber drivers. This role involves facilitating reservations, processing rentals, and ensuring vehicles are clean and safe for customers. The specialist will also handle post-rental inquiries and maximize revenue opportunities through effective communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the fastest and most valued rental car experience for Lyft and Uber drivers.
• Assist customers in creating rental car reservations and processing rentals.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for customer pick-up.
• Handle post-rental inquiries related to rentals and billing processes.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and related questions.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by actively soliciting business and overcoming customer objections.
• Communicate effectively the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist with special administrative projects as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
• Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer literate and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Fluency in languages other than English is encouraged.
