About the position

The Sales and Service Technician (SST) role at Firestone Complete Auto Care is a hybrid position designed to provide exceptional customer service while performing basic vehicle services. This position serves as a key pipeline for career growth within the company, allowing individuals to learn all aspects of store operations and flexibly transition between customer interaction and service tasks. The SST is responsible for assessing customer needs, recommending products and services, and ensuring satisfaction through timely service completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sales support, resolving customer issues (75% of the role).
• Perform basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire services, and fluid checks (25% of the role).
• Assist in store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and display maintenance as needed.
• Act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances to support development and store operations.
• Learn all aspects of store operations and flexibly transition between front and back shop tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid automobile driver's license.
• Customer service and career growth mindset.
• Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
• Ability to learn and operate store systems.

Nice-to-haves

• 2-year degree or completion of a non-traditional training program.
• Previous consumer retail sales experience.
• Previous automotive experience.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
