About the position

This position is a home-based technical support role for the Schneider sales group, requiring significant travel to customer offices and distribution partners. The successful candidate will engage directly with contractors and distributors, focusing on customer consultations, presentations, and feedback documentation to support product development. The role emphasizes teamwork and effective communication, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and system operation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the Schneider sales group.
• Consult with customers to determine system operation requirements.
• Document customer feedback, requirements, and desires for current and next-gen systems.
• Conduct group presentations and represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
• Host webinars and develop content related to Schneider Home solutions.
• Work directly with the sales team to build and maintain a healthy pipeline of customers.
• Serve as a feedback loop to R&D teams.

Requirements

• Understanding of Schneider Home solutions and competitive products.
• Experience with electrical fundamentals and electrical equipment.
• Full comprehension of installer KPIs and product expectations.
• Fundamental understanding of installation methods, codes, and standards.
• Ability to follow and develop standardized processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving history.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience related to new product introduction.
• Experience working directly with installers and distributors.
• Ability to comprehend and understand PV/BESS permit sets.
• Thorough understanding of power generation, power distribution, and power quality concepts.
• Knowledgeable in basic computer programs (Office, Salesforce, etc).
