The Area Manager will also oversee pricing strategies and monitor compliance with credit terms, ensuring that all transactions are conducted within the established guidelines. This position is full-time and operates on the first shift, providing a structured work environment that allows for focused sales activities during regular business hours. The Area Manager will be part of a dynamic team at Performance Foodservice, which prides itself on building close relationships with a diverse range of customers, including independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, and schools. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years of sales-related work experience
  • Basic/Intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or related field
  • Two or more years of foodservice sales experience
  • Foodservice distribution industry experience
  • Culinary training and/or experience, such as sous chef, chef, or kitchen manager
  • Experience with sales-related systems, such as online ordering, data entry, pricing tools, and sales dashboards.
