About The Position

As a Sales Assistant at Claire's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets. Your primary responsibilities will include driving sales through exceptional customer service, ensuring a fun shopping experience for customers, and assisting with various store operations such as visual merchandising and inventory management. You will also receive training to perform ear piercings and will be expected to maintain an inviting store environment.

Requirements

• Some high school education required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate the POS system.
