About the position

The Sales Assistant will support the sales department in a manufacturing company by handling various administrative tasks, ensuring customer profiles are updated, processing orders, and providing customer service. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of accounts receivable and facilitating communication within the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales department with administrative work.
  • Update and maintain customer profiles for the assigned region.
  • Provide customer service in accordance with company policy.
  • Process customer orders efficiently.
  • Assist Sales Representatives in maintaining accounts receivable integrity.
  • Respond timely to action-related emails.
  • Participate in departmental company meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role
  • Manufacturing industry experience (a plus)
  • Bilingual language abilities in Mandarin Chinese, Korean, or Japanese (a plus)
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales support (1 year preferred)

  • Ability to commute to Fontana, CA (preferred)
