About the position

Audacy-Madison is seeking entry and junior sales professionals who are ready to lead in the evolution of audio. This position is ideal for a professional who is bright, energetic, and a self-starter, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask while providing support to Sales Managers and Account Executives. The audio space is experiencing unprecedented growth, with our award-winning podcasts and memorable concerts creating lasting connections with audiences. As part of the second largest audio group in the US, we are expanding our team to meet the increasing demand for audio content and experiences. In this role, you will act as a liaison between the Account Executive and clients, creating compelling sales presentations and maintaining essential marketing materials. You will build strong business relationships by delivering exceptional service and achieving sales objectives. Your responsibilities will include prospecting new clients, managing existing accounts, and ensuring smooth execution of sales orders. You will also be expected to participate in training sessions and sales meetings, continually learning about new products and services in our evolving industry. This position offers a competitive base salary, bonus compensation, and lucrative commissions for exceeding sales quotas. Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the Account Executive and client.
  • Create sales presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats and materials.
  • Assist Account Executives with preparing proposals.
  • Build deep business relationships through delivering great service and results to clients.
  • Achieve sales objectives and quotas.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and client remotes as needed.
  • Effectively prospect new clients and pitch strategic ideas to drive new business.
  • Grow existing accounts and manage all business aspects of the relationship.
  • Update managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
  • Consistently use and maintain our CRM tool and other platforms for daily business operations.
  • Obtain local invoices for clients/agencies and interact closely with the Traffic Department.
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and copying.
  • Assist General Manager with client parties, scheduling, and coordinating using approved vendors.
  • Work as a team with other departments and individuals.
  • Continually learn new products and proactively create new opportunities to communicate our value proposition.

Requirements

  • Motivated self-starter and independent worker.
  • Ability to effectively utilize research in presentations.
  • Flexible, creative, and digitally savvy.
  • Strong ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Tools, and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to adapt to new software programs as needed.
  • Ability to articulate complex thoughts and ideas clearly in oral and written form.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of insurance if using own vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 to 3 years in Media, Sales, or customer service background preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
