About the position
The Sales Assistant Manager role at StaffBright is focused on managing and expanding relationships with OEMs in the automotive industry, specifically for the import, export, and domestic trading of auto parts. This position is crucial for the company's growth and offers a pathway to advance into a divisional manager role within 3-5 years. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive sales and project management, overseeing a small sales team and engaging with international clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead general sales and manage projects for the import and export of automotive parts, working with OEMs across the four-wheel vehicle industry.
- Oversee a small but growing sales team, collaborating cross-functionally with up to nine team members across the division.
- Manage customer accounts, supplier relationships, and pricing negotiations for automotive parts, focusing on delivering excellent service.
- Engage in regular communication with international clients, including significant Japanese OEMs and suppliers.
- Act as the liaison between suppliers and OEMs to meet project requirements, timing, and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in automotive sales or technical sales, with knowledge of industry standards like PPAP.
- Strong project management and team management abilities; knowledge of pricing and negotiation within the automotive industry.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with Japanese OEMs, especially with interior/exterior automotive parts suppliers.
