About the position
As a Sales Associate at Claire's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets. Your primary focus will be on driving sales through exceptional customer service, ensuring a fun and enjoyable shopping experience for customers, and assisting with various store operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
- Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service.
- Ensure customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Demonstrate Claire's products to customers.
- Assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
- Process store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
- Perform ear piercing (full training provided).
- Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to customers.
Requirements
- Some high school education required.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understanding of the importance of customer service.
- Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
- Ability to operate POS system.
