About the position

The Sales Assistant position at Prime Air Inc. is an entry-level role focused on providing administrative support to the Senior Sales & Purchasing Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the aviation aftermarket industry, working closely with various stakeholders including stockists, airlines, lessors, OEMs, and maintenance facilities. The role emphasizes customer service and data management to assist in stock purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day admin support to Senior Sales & Purchasing Manager
  • Collate quotes and market data via telephone and email
  • Enter quotes and market data into the company inventory system to identify usage trends
  • Process Sales and Purchase Orders and coordinate order shipping on behalf of the Sales Manager
  • Deliver high quality customer service and responses to customers and vendors

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Able to work independently and under your own initiative
  • High energy level, sense of urgency and self-motivated
  • Good, confident telephone manner
