About the position

The Sales Associate Representative I at Zimmer Biomet is responsible for driving sales in a designated territory with significant growth potential. This role involves building customer relationships, analyzing market data, and executing educational programs to enhance customer loyalty and experience. The Associate Rep will work closely with the Territory Manager and Regional Sales Director to develop strategies and meet sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds established quotas and objectives.
  • Advises customers about products, services, and educational programs.
  • Builds relationships with customers to increase loyalty and customer experience.
  • Analyzes sales/market data to assist in the development of territory strategy.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs and forecast volume potential.
  • Presents educational programs and executes other educational events within the assigned territory.
  • Utilizes the sales process to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Facilitates order processing, returns, and follows up as required.
  • Informs Territory Manager/Regional Sales Manager about market potential and customer concerns.
  • Represents the company at trade association meetings or educational events to build relationships and promote products.
  • Coordinates liaison activities between the sales department and other business partners.
  • Assists other departments in preparing manuals and technical publications.
  • Prepares periodic strategic plans to forecast future sales volume and customer breakdown.
  • Develops proposals and business plans for top customers.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • BS degree plus 0 - 3 years of selling experience, preferably from a large company environment with formalized Professional Selling Skills training.
  • Strong goal orientation and results-driven mindset.
  • Understanding of the consultative sales process and experience with formalized sales training.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record.
  • Strong hunter mentality and ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Demonstrated integrity with high ethical standards.
  • Current/active state-issued driver's license.
  • Ability to utilize a laptop computer with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence and sound business judgment with the ability to execute plans.
  • Highly accountable, well organized with excellent planning skills.
