About the position

As a Retail Sales Associate at Raymour & Flanigan, you will engage in consultative selling to build strong customer relationships while achieving sales goals. This role offers unlimited earnings potential through commissions and incentives, along with a performance sign-on bonus. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take a consultative selling approach to building customer relationships.

  • Train through Raymour & Flanigan University, gaining product knowledge and sales solutions expertise.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Build your business by prospecting, networking and scheduling appointments.
  • Demonstrate professional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exhibit patience, resiliency, and persistence backed by an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Utilize excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Requirements

  • One to three years of work experience.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and special sales events.
  • Professional dress required.
  • Business to business sales experience is a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Ability to tend to customer needs for periods of up to 8 hours or more.
