About the position

The Sales Associate/Assistant Manager role at The UPS Store involves providing exceptional customer service while assisting with packaging, shipping, and various document services. The position requires strong leadership skills and open availability to meet the needs of customers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service
  • Assist customers to determine the best way to ship their packages
  • Assist customers with document services
  • Pack merchandise for shipment and process the shipment
  • Ring sales in a computerized register
  • Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store
  • Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes accurately

Requirements

  • Notary experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Able to lift 20-40 pounds
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to be a team player and mesh with all co-workers
