About The Position
J.Jill is a premier omnichannel retailer and nationally recognized women's apparel brand committed to delighting customers with great wear-now product. The Sales Associate position is a vital role within our talented team, dedicated to providing service that is uniquely tailored to our customers' needs. As a Sales Associate, you will build genuine connections and loyalty with customers, assisting them in creating an entire wardrobe that reflects their personal style. This role requires a high level of customer service support, product expertise, and advanced selling skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that the store environment and visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained, contributing to the overall shopping experience. In this position, you will be responsible for achieving individual and team sales and productivity performance goals. This includes greeting customers promptly and genuinely, re-engaging with them appropriately, and conducting company-sponsored outreach to acquire new customers and increase shopping visits. You will guide customers to looks that flatter and assist them in building versatile wardrobes by providing helpful service and advice, suggesting layering and accessorizing options. Staying up-to-date on J.Jill product features, fashion trends, and how they translate to our customers is essential for success in this role. Additionally, you will assist with floor set execution and ongoing re-merchandising of the store, maintaining excellent visual standards and replenishing the sales floor according to minimum product level standards. Contributing to operational excellence is also a key responsibility, as you will participate in various operational functions, including marketing, product processing, replenishment, markdowns, promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization. Compliance with company policies and procedures is crucial to ensure a safe environment and protect company assets.
