About The Position
Sol's Jewelry and Loan is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service and eager to learn about our diverse range of products. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent sales service and building lasting relationships with our clientele. You will be responsible for greeting customers, engaging them with our merchandise, and assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively and understand customer needs will be key to your success in this role. In this position, you will actively seek out customers in the store, assess their needs, and provide assistance that fosters trust and repeat business. You will need to remain knowledgeable about Sol's products, including tools, jewelry, firearms, and electronics, to offer accurate information and recommendations. Your expertise will grow as you learn about appropriate pricing ranges for items coming in on loan and those going out for sale. Collaboration with co-workers is essential to ensure that customer service standards are met and exceeded. You will also be responsible for handling financial transactions, including operating cash registers and processing credit cards. Achieving store sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis will be part of your responsibilities, along with suggesting improvements to sales strategies and store layout. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, assisting with inventory control, and answering phone inquiries in a professional manner are also key aspects of this role.
