About the position

Infinite Hair and Beauty is looking for motivated and friendly Cashiers/Sales Associates to join their team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers in a hair and beauty store, focusing on providing exceptional service, processing transactions, and promoting products through engaging demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and encourage sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist customers with requests in store and on the phone.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers.
• Keep an eye on inventory levels and restock shelves and aisles as needed.
• Educate customers about current promotions, sales, and advertisements.
• Contribute to team's daily sales goals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hair and/or beauty or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered.
