About the position

The Sales Associate at Chico's is responsible for fostering a customer-focused sales culture that emphasizes individual expression and a positive shopping experience. This role supports management in achieving sales goals, maintaining store standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service. The Sales Associate is expected to contribute to a collaborative team environment while promoting the brand's values and principles.

Responsibilities

• Meet company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
• Ensure standards in merchandise handling, presentation, and loss prevention are upheld.
• Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
• Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and a fast register experience.
• Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and achieve add-on goals including gift card sales.
• Sign up clients for the reward program and build a solid customer following through clienteling.
• Maintain consistent client communication through utilization of a customer book.
• Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
• Assist with visual directives, floor sets, window changes, and boutique cleanliness.

Requirements

• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers, associates, and management.
• Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives.
