The Sales Associate at Theory is responsible for achieving store sales goals and fostering lasting client relationships. This role emphasizes creating a superior shopping experience through effective clienteling, product knowledge, and compliance with company policies. The Sales Associate will also support team motivation and engagement while ensuring operational excellence in the store.
Responsibilities
- Meet personal and store sales and KPI goals
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the product to support brand goals
- Develop sales techniques relevant to the market
- Establish and maintain a client base
- Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to meet sales goals
- Ensure effective communication between managers and team members
- Support team motivation and engagement
- Contribute innovative ideas to meet business goals
- Resolve client needs quickly and effectively
- Participate in all training and development meetings
- Ensure all store functions support a superior shopping experience
- Uphold store standards and policies daily
- Assist in stock maintenance and shipping/receiving protocols
- Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs
- Comply with point of sale register policies and procedures
- Ensure the highest level of customer service
- Build meaningful relationships with clients
- Collaborate with team members to support a superior shopping experience
- Act as a Theory Brand Ambassador
Requirements
- 1-2 years' prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
- Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Independent work ethic and time management skills
- Computer skills to operate point of sale system
