About the position

Hill House is seeking a Sales Associate & Content Creator to create social media content and personalized shopping experiences for our customers at our Rock Center retail store. This part-time position will maintain a retail schedule, including weekends, and is integral to enhancing the customer experience through engaging content and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will assist in the production and creation of social content for brand channels upon request from the marketing team, ensuring that the brand's voice and aesthetic are consistently represented across platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for sharing store-related content ideas regularly with the marketing team, becoming a product expert to offer fit, fabric, style, and gift recommendations to customers. Building authentic connections with shoppers is crucial as you answer questions and complete purchases, constantly seeking ways to improve the customer experience. You will also assist with checking stock daily and restocking the selling floor when necessary, perform open and closeout procedures as needed, and ensure that the shop floor and visual displays are maintained to a high standard. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will utilize exceptional customer service skills to surprise and delight customers by going above and beyond their expectations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Passionate about content creation and fluent in the social media landscape
• Retail experience or service industry background preferred
• Self-motivated with exceptional communication and motivational attitude
