About the position

The e-Commerce Sales Associate at AutoNation is responsible for interacting with customers through various channels, including online, phone, and in-person, to assist them in their vehicle purchasing journey. This role emphasizes providing an exceptional customer experience in a no-haggle sales environment, guiding customers from initial contact to final purchase, and ensuring satisfaction post-sale.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers online, over the phone, and in person to assist with vehicle purchases.
• Respond to leads in a timely manner and provide information to customers.
• Guide customers effectively from phone and internet contact to in-store experience.
• Help customers select their perfect vehicle and negotiate payment options.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and transition them to the Service department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, preferably in retail.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
