About the position

The e-Commerce Sales Associate at AutoNation is responsible for guiding customers through their vehicle purchasing journey in a no-haggle sales environment. This role involves interacting with customers online, over the phone, and in person, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process. The associate will respond to leads, answer questions, and assist customers in selecting their ideal vehicle while negotiating payment options that fit their needs. Additionally, the role includes following up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and facilitate their transition to the Service department.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers online, over the phone, and in person to guide their vehicle purchase.
  • Respond to leads in a timely manner and provide information to customers.
  • Assist customers in selecting their perfect vehicle and negotiate payment options.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience before and after the purchase.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and support their ownership experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Prior sales experience, preferably in retail.
  • Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to follow up with customers.
  • Experience and desire to work with technology.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
