About the position

The e-Commerce Sales Associate at AutoNation plays a crucial role in guiding customers through their vehicle purchasing journey in a no-haggle sales environment. This position involves interacting with customers online, over the phone, and in person, ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout the buying process. The associate is responsible for responding to leads, answering questions, and facilitating a smooth transition from online inquiries to in-store experiences, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers online, over the phone, and in person to assist with vehicle purchases.
• Respond to leads in a timely manner and provide necessary information to customers.
• Guide customers effectively from initial contact to in-store experience.
• Help customers select their perfect vehicle and negotiate payment options.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty post-purchase.
• Assist in transitioning customers to the Service department for ongoing support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, preferably in retail.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
