About the position
As a Sales Associate at Frontgate, you will play a crucial role in our retail expansion by delivering an outstanding guest experience and performing operational responsibilities that drive sales. Your primary focus will be to embrace and promote the Frontgate brand, ensuring that every guest feels inspired and empowered to customize their space. You will be responsible for achieving sales goals on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, contributing to the overall success of the store. In addition to sales, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and easy-to-shop sales floor, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Your role will also involve delivering excellent guest service by fostering an environment that is helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient for both guests and team members. You will provide guests with accurate and efficient service, educating them on the products and services available through Frontgate. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service and a commitment to enhancing the shopping experience for all visitors. Your hiring location is West Chester, OH, where you will report directly to the Assistant Store Manager. This position is full-time and permanent, and it is essential to be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time, and additional physical requirements may include climbing ladders and lifting medium to large items, up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales following daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals for the store
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and easy-to-shop sales floor
- Deliver excellent guest service by promoting an environment that is helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient for guests and team members
- Provide guests with accurate and efficient service to educate them on the products and services available through Frontgate.
Requirements
- 2+ years of specialty retail sales experience
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, Kronos, and POS systems
- Previous cash handling experience required
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50lbs
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Additional physical requirements may be required i.e. climbing ladders.
