About the position
The Sales Associate position at Frontgate is a vital role in our retail expansion strategy, aimed at enhancing the customer experience and driving sales in our Dallas, TX location. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for embodying and promoting the Frontgate brand, ensuring that every guest receives an outstanding shopping experience. This includes performing operational responsibilities that not only increase sales but also create an inspiring environment where guests feel empowered to customize their spaces with our unique home furnishings and décor. You will work closely with the Assistant Store Manager to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean, organized sales floor that is easy for customers to navigate. In this role, you will be expected to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets while delivering excellent guest service. This involves providing accurate and efficient service to educate guests about the products and services offered by Frontgate. Your ability to create a helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient environment will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. The position requires a proactive approach to sales and a commitment to maintaining the high standards of the Frontgate brand. Responsibilities
- Achieve sales following daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals for the store
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and easy-to-shop sales floor
- Deliver excellent guest service by promoting an environment that is helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient for guests and team members
- Provide guests with accurate and efficient service to educate them on the products and services available through Frontgate.
Requirements
- 2+ years of specialty retail sales experience
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, Kronos, and POS systems
- Previous cash handling experience
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50lbs
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Additional physical requirements may be required i.e. climbing ladders.
