As a Sales Associate at Ballard Designs, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while promoting the Ballard brand. This position involves achieving sales goals, maintaining an organized sales floor, and providing knowledgeable service to customers. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on enhancing the shopping experience and empowering guests to customize their spaces.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales following daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals for the store
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and easy-to-shop sales floor
- Deliver excellent guest service by promoting an environment that is helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient for guests and team members
- Provide guests with accurate and efficient service to educate them on the products and services available through Ballard Designs
Requirements
- 2+ years of specialty retail sales experience
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, Kronos, and POS systems
- Previous cash handling experience required
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50lbs
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
