About the position

As a Sales Associate at Ballard Designs, you will play a crucial role in our retail expansion by delivering an outstanding guest experience and performing operational responsibilities that drive sales. Your primary focus will be to embrace and promote the Ballard brand, ensuring that every guest feels inspired and empowered to customize their space. This position is based at our Roswell, GA location at the Holcomb Bridge Outlet, where you will be part of a stellar team dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and easy-to-shop sales floor, ensuring that the environment is welcoming and efficient for both guests and team members. Your ability to deliver excellent guest service will be paramount, as you will promote an atmosphere that is helpful and knowledgeable, assisting guests in understanding the products and services available through Ballard Designs. Your contributions will not only enhance the shopping experience but also support the overall mission of Ballard Designs, which has been curating unique home furnishings and décor since 1982. Responsibilities

• Achieve sales following daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals for the store
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and easy-to-shop sales floor
• Deliver excellent guest service by promoting an environment that is helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient for guests and team members
• Provide guests with accurate and efficient service to educate them on the products and services available through Ballard Designs

Requirements

• 2+ years of specialty retail sales experience
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, Kronos, and POS systems
• Previous cash handling experience required
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50lbs
• Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Additional physical requirements may be required, i.e., climbing ladders
