The Sales Associate II position at Coach is a vital role that contributes significantly to the overall success and efficiency of the store. This position demands a strong commitment to the brand's service and selling models, ensuring that customers receive a personalized and positive shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating lasting relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that enhance their shopping experience. You will act as a brand ambassador, representing Coach with enthusiasm and professionalism while driving sales and achieving personal and store metrics. In the sales floor environment, you will be expected to understand organizational objectives and make decisions that align with the company's priorities. This includes taking ownership of your personal sales strategies and clienteling efforts in collaboration with the management team. You will create both short- and long-term strategies to meet your performance goals, while also being proactive in addressing areas for improvement based on customer feedback and survey results. Your role will involve driving business through effective sales strategies, clienteling, and maintaining productive relationships with customers. Operationally, you will ensure that all daily tasks are completed efficiently without compromising service quality or Coach standards. This includes maintaining the sales floor and backroom, adhering to retail policies, and supporting inventory processes. You will also be responsible for processing customer transactions and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role requires a strong focus on customer service, operational excellence, and teamwork, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among colleagues and customers alike.

Responsibilities

  • Understand organizational objectives and align decisions with company priorities.

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrate selling and service expectations.
  • Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and communicate current pricing and promotional strategies to customers.
  • Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons based on customer needs.
  • Follow up with customers consistently to influence and close sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and backroom according to Coach standards.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, and exchanges.
