About the position

The Sales Associate III role at Coach is essential for driving store success and delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves understanding organizational objectives, creating personal sales strategies, and building lasting relationships with customers. The Sales Associate is responsible for upholding Coach's service and selling models, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and maintaining operational standards in the store.

Responsibilities

  • Understand organizational objectives and align decisions with company priorities.
  • Take ownership of personal sales metrics and create strategies to achieve performance goals.
  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrate selling and service expectations.
  • Drive business through sales strategies and maintain productive customer relationships.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and communicate current pricing and promotional strategies to customers.
  • Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons based on customer needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and adhere to retail policies and procedures.
  • Support inventory processes and assist with cash-wrap operations as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with mobile POS systems and technology tools for clienteling.
