About the position

The Sales Associate III role at Coach is essential for driving store success through exceptional customer service and sales performance. This position focuses on building lasting customer relationships, representing the Coach brand, and achieving personal sales goals while maintaining operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Understand organizational objectives and align decisions with company priorities.
  • Create short- and long-term strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals.
  • Take ownership of personal survey results and create plans for improvement.
  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrate selling and service expectations.
  • Understand local market changes and support local sales strategies.
  • Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, and sourcing new customers.
  • Create positive impressions with customers through professional attire and demeanor.
  • Build credibility as a personal fashion advisor by communicating fashion awareness and competition knowledge.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and communicate current pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Discuss product features and leverage cross-selling skills to build sales.
  • Tailor approach to meet individual customer shopping needs and follow up consistently to close sales.
  • Flex personal selling techniques to contribute to overall store financial results.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers and leverage tools for clienteling efforts.
  • Promote a team selling environment and foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times during customer interactions.
  • Complete daily operational tasks while maintaining service and Coach standards.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy selling floor and adhere to retail policies and procedures.
  • Replenish inventory and support the store inventory process as needed.
  • Efficiently process customer transactions and maintain strong organizational standards.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
  • Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills, including the ability to use iPad/laptop and Mobile POS.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a luxury retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
